Today we passed into South Dakota and almost immediately things got better: the rain went away, the terrain became more interesting, the Visitor Centers had museums in them. All was great except the stupid sore throat that I picked up the previous evening in Minnesota (grrr!). Now I’m knocked flat with a full-on cold, but luckily our path brought us to the small town of Wall — which is home to the famous Wall Drug, of course. If I needed to fall sick, I guess this is a perfect place to do so.
