I *think* the term commonwealth is officially just a leftover term from back when we parted ways with England and doesn’t really have any modern political consequence, but I’m not sure!

Why does Pennsylvania call itself a commonwealth rather than a state?

I think TC is indeed known for cherries! Even if they’re no longer in season, I bet I can get like… some cherry preserves.

I love that you have Breezewood memories. Don’t we all?!

If you have any recommendations for Wisconsin & Minnesota, please email them to me if you can… We weren’t originally thinking those states would happen, but now they’re on the itinerary (um, such as it is).

omg, I can’t believe you’re in breezewood. I have so many strange memories of Breezewood during drives to/from the mid-west as a kid. For some reason, they all involve a Taco Bell. And intensity, you’re totally right.

I feel like Traverse City is known for cherries or something (we had a mid from there). Maybe you’ll still catch them in season?
